Framed Prints Production & ShippingUpdated 2 years ago
As soon as the order for your Frames Print is submitted, the image is immediately transferred to our print server. The image is entered into the print queue, nested and sent to print! The nested images are all printed in a large print run on our roll-based HP print system.
Once all of the nested images are printed and the paper roll is filled, the run is sent to our cutting team. Each print is individually trimmed to the proper size for framing, slightly enlarged for mat overlap.
After trimming, prints are then sorted and grouped by order and transferred to our framing team. The framing team expertly mats the prints and places them behind premium framer's acrylic glass. A backing is placed on the rear of the components and everything is assembled in the frame, securely fastened in place using pneumatically inserted framer's points.
Finished Framed Prints are then packaged safely in bubble wrap so they are not scuffed or scratched. Packaged prints are then shipped, or safely stored if additional products in the order are still to be completed.
From start to finish, this process takes an average 4-6 business days to complete. Depending on where your image falls in the queue and the volume of orders in the system, the time frame can go up or down. All of our production times are averages. It is possible that production times will occasionally fall outside of the posted range.
