Tips for Silver Metal Prints
Silver Metal Prints are a sophisticated and unique way to make your photo prints one-of-a-kind! Avant-garde with a brushed aluminum finish and metallic silver tones imparted in the image, Silver Metal Prints are always eye-catching! Here are the DOs and DON'Ts of Silver Metal printing to help you with this product:
- DO choose images with large, defined subject matter. With their brushed aluminum base, Silver Metal Prints prints look best with vibrant, dynamic images. High contrast and high saturation content keeps the image defined and meshes with the silver base, without being overtaken.
- DO get creative! The durability of the Silver Metal allows for all sorts of options! You can place them in a variety of hard-to-decorate places. Because of their super-strong print coating, and Dibond metal structure, Silver Metal Prints fair very well in non-temperature controlled environments, like a bathroom with fluctuating humidity, or even outdoors, year-round!
- DO check your edges. The Silver Metal Prints are printed nested together on a large sheet and trimmed individually. The trimming process will cause approximately 1/8" of image and size loss per edge. Make sure any important details (like a signature or watermark) is placed a safe distance from the edge of the image.
- DON'T include fine or narrow borders on your image. In the trimming process, narrow borders may end up trimmed unevenly or lost entirely in the final print.
